In this interactive workshop Karolyn Kinane, Associate Director at the Contemplative Sciences Center, will introduce contemplative approaches to teaching and learning that can be applied in a variety of instructional environments. Participants will engage in exercises to create values-aligned activities and assignments that build students’ capacities for awareness, compassion, and meaning-making. This workshop will bring special attention to the role of disposition--in addition to content and skills--in educational experiences.

For questions about registration, contact Claire Reeger (claire.reeger@virginia.edu).

This event is part of the Center for Teaching Excellence's Tomorrow's Professors Today program.
