In this lab you will learn to remain balanced and resourceful in the face of stress by understanding the science of heart-rate variability and learning simple emotional and mental resilience techniques. With the use of a biofeedback system that measures your heart-rate variability, you will be able to see your body's unique reaction to stress as well as its response to breathing techniques. You will then identify the technique that is most helpful for you.
No session on Jan 30.
Free and open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members/guests. Prior registration is not required, and participation is on a first come, first served basis. Participants are invited to arrive early to secure a spot.
